Custom treatment duration

Sometimes you need to have different treatment duration for different provider/ injector. On the other times, you need to change the treatment duration for a specific injector for a few events only. Maybe you need to specify the treatment duration by selected area.
You can set custom treatment durations in 3 different ways:

1. For long term

If the treatment duration doesn't change frequently for a provider/ injector, please do this:

  1. From top menu, choose Settings > Clinics 
  2. Click action menu, then select "View Branch(es)"
  3. Click action menu, then select "Treatment categories"
  4. Select "Treatments" icon on action column
  5. On the treatments list, please make sure the provider is listed there on "Providers (duration)" column. If you don't see the provider, please ask admin or clinic owner to add the provider.
  6. Click "edit duration" button and specify the duration per provider.

2. For short term/ few events only 

If you need to change the treatment duration for a few events only, please do this:

  1. Create or edit a schedule
  2. On each provider, you will see "add custom treatment duration" button. Click that button and specify the treatment and duration needed.
  3. Please keep in mind that if you set the custom treatment duration this way, it only affect 1 schedule only.  

3. Treatment duration per area

Some treament duration on areas are taking longer time than the other, so if you want to use treatment duration per area when a patient book, you need to do this:

  1. From top menu, choose Settings > Clinics 
  2. Click action menu, then select "View Branch(es)"
  3. Click action menu, then select "Treatment categories"
  4. Select "Treatments" icon on action column
  5. Click manage area icon
  6. Add/ edit a treatment area, and enter the duration
  7. If you want to create custom duration for a certain injector, click "edit duration" on "Providers (duration)" column. 
  8. Go back to "List of treatments" for that branch, and activate "Use duration per area".

Now, when a patient book an appointment for that treatment, he/ she could select the area he/ she wanted, and the appointment duration will be calculated per selected areas.
